Welcome to Dot-Engee Web Hosting Company (“Dot-Engee,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using our hosting services, websites, and related products, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using Dot-Engee’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
3. Services Provided
Dot-Engee offers:
- Web hosting (shared, VPS, dedicated, cloud).
- Domain registration and management.
- Email hosting and related features.
- Security tools (SSL, firewalls, backups).
4. Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Notify Dot-Engee immediately of unauthorized account use.
- Ensure your hosted content complies with Nigerian law and international standards.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You must not use Dot-Engee services to:
- Host illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content.
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing schemes.
- Infringe on intellectual property rights.
- Engage in activities that disrupt or overload our servers.
Violation may result in suspension or termination of services.
6. Fees & Billing
- Fees are charged according to your selected hosting plan.
- Payments must be made in advance.
- Late or failed payments may result in suspension of services.
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or under Dot-Engee’s refund policy.
7. Service Availability
- Dot-Engee guarantees 99.9% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance.
- We are not responsible for downtime caused by factors outside our control (e.g., internet outages, force majeure).
8. Data Protection & Privacy
- Dot-Engee complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA, 2023).
- Clients retain ownership of their website content.
- Personal data is processed lawfully and securely.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Dot-Engee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client in the preceding 3 months.
10. Termination
- You may terminate services at any time with written notice.
- Dot-Engee may suspend or terminate services if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Abuja under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
12. Changes to Terms
Dot-Engee may update these Terms periodically.
